Quarterback Donovan McNabb, who rallied the Philadelphia Eagles to an overtime victory over the Green Bay Packers, earned NFL Offensive Player of the Week honors on Wednesday.
McNabb completed 21-of-39 passes for 248 yards with two interceptions and also set a playoff record for quarterbacks by rushing for 107 yards on 11 carries.
The fifth-year veteran saved the Eagles' season by completing a 28-yard pass to Freddy Mitchell on 4th-and-26 on their final possession of regulation. David Akers kicked a 37-yard field goal to tie it, then converted a 31-yarder in overtime to give Philadelphia a 20-17 victory and a berth in the NFC championship game against the Carolina Panthers.
The Eagles are the first team to play in three straight championship games since

Rookie cornerback Ricky Manning Jr. of the Panthers and defensive end Richard Seymour of the New England Patriots were named Defensive and Special Teams Players of the Week, respectively.
A third-round pick out of UCLA, Manning's interception at the Carolina 35 set up Jake Delhomme's 69-yard touchdown pass to Steve Smith on the first play of the second overtime as the Panthers defeated the St. Louis Rams, 29-23. Carolina reached the NFC title game for the second time in franchise history.
Seymour blocked a 31-yard field goal in the Patriots' 17-14 victory over the Tennessee Titans. Seymour's block came with 1:08 left in the first half and the Patriots holding a 14-7 lead.
